My name is Linda and I am a big animal activist. I love all animals and the way they are mistreated angers me to no end. I love dogs and cats, even though I have 4 dogs and 1 cat living with me in my house. They are like my children and I couldn't imagine my life with out them. They fill a big void where my children are grown now and are like my husband Martin and my children. We have Michelle and Abby (Mother 6 and Daughter 4) and we have Shelby (4months old) who was a dog we were fostering but feel in love with and decided to make her a part of our lives.

My daughter who is 19 still living at home since she is in a local collage has a Pit-Bull who is 1yr old and a few weeks, which we love as much to. They all are so pretty and have their on different ways about them, but boy do they love mom and dad and each other. Our cat Tom Tom loves to play with them as well. He was rescued by my daughter in December over 2 yrs ago as a young kitten around 6 or 7 weeks old and near death. He pulled out of it after almost a week.

My husband and I are members of the Claiborne Animal Shelter and do a lot of fostering pupies which we love doing or anything they would ask us to do as well as the web site for them, http://www.claiborneanimalshelter.com Fostering has become a big part of our lives for dogs, mostly puppies. I have never did anything that made me feel so good as takng care of them and helping them get homes. It's very flusterating though as we give them so much attention and love and not knowing just how well they will be treated when they go to their new homes is hard. I want to take all abuse and negleted dogs and just keep them for ever my self, buts thats a dream I know will never happed unless we got very well off enough to buy a place that big and be able to do just this.

I go to school to be a Cosmetologist and have around 2 and half months to go. My husband is Dutch and we are still in the process of getting his Citizenship which I never dreamed would be as hard as it has turned out to be. I lived in the Netherlands with him for around 3 and 1/2 yrs and within 3 wks I have my legal status. He still does some work for a company out of Spain till he gets his citizenship so he can start traveling again as a crisis manager for the telecoms. Well that about sums it up about me. Want to know anything else just ask.
Smiles Linda
